CONTEXT
We’ve been told to practice social distancing during a global pandemic. During my many quiet moments of isolation, I started to think about a life where we had to stay 6 feet apart forever. Although we would still be able to interact vocally and gesturally, we would miss out on physical interactions that could easily replace a string of well crafted words.
CONCEPT
6 Feet Closer visualizes what we are lacking and in need of - shared physical moments. High fives, hugs, pinky promises, and secret handshakes are just a handful of simple, yet meaningful, interactions that are explored in this celebratory piece.
This is my contribution in creating something uplifting and positive in times of change.
